What to do after an accident

1. Get medical care first. Your health comes before everything. Go to the ER or see a doctor even if you "feel fine" — some injuries show up days later, and medical records also protect your claim.
2. Report it. For a car accident, call the police and get the report number. For a fall or workplace injury, report it to the property owner or employer in writing.
3. Take photos. Vehicles, the scene, your injuries, anything relevant. More is better.
4. Be careful who you talk to. The other side's insurance adjuster may call quickly and sound friendly. Their job is to pay you as little as possible. You are not required to give them a recorded statement.
5. Call a lawyer early. Evidence disappears fast — camera footage gets erased, witnesses forget. The earlier we start, the stronger your case.

What "no fee unless we win" actually means
